It’s been a year now since my participation in a sound therapy session led by the beautifully talented Valerie that resulted in the most profound spiritual experience of my life! Valerie has an ability to tap into what seems like a mystical place deep within her. By using instruments she’s collected from her many travels as well as her lovely voice, she is able to produce transcendental sounds that have the power to immediately soothe my body as well as provide a long-lasting healing effect. Today, when things begin to feel challenging again, I can go back to that place of love, compassion, and connectedness to Nature and everything in it. I had the privilege of working with Val on some deep rooted trauma that I have been holding in my body for a very long time. She held an incredible space for me and she so patiently walked me and guided me through a somatic healing experience. I had experience with various energy healing work - but nothing like what Val was able to accomplish with me. She is as strong intuitively as she is loving. The sound ceremony with Valerie was nothing short of amazing. I noticed Valerie was someone that could guide us towards perhaps a deeper and much needed experience: learning how to feel profound emotions, imagery and memories, with caution and wisdom.  Working with Valerie has allowed me to experience the inner somatic process that is always happening in deeper & more enriching manners. Each time I am invited to drop in I have felt more & more held, safer, in tune & guided to attune to what is, without judgement. Feeling safe & accompanied has allowed me to focus on the present moment. Val has acted as a guardian for the work, stewarding away the intrusive thoughts, channeling wisdom to help in my exploration, naming certain occurrences, all the while in a very calm, measured & professional way. From beginning to end, the experiences so far have been very helpful to understand that which lies beyond the story. Her work allows me to go past my story to reach my reality, as is.

Val is an absolute gem! I had the joy of experiencing her sound bath during a weekend birthday trip to Ojai and it was truly magical. She has such beautiful calming energy and her practice left our whole group feeling relaxed refreshed and grounded for the weekend ahead. The highlight was when she sang at the end. Her voice was angelic and completely transported us. It was an unforgettable experience and we all left feeling deeply blessed-- I highly recommend her!
